Description:
The Böker Plus Lancer 42 is a sleek pocket knife for daily use, designed by Serge Panchenko. The original Lancer was very successful. That is why Böker introduced the Lancer 42. There are two main differences: the Lancer 42 can only be opened with two hands, and it is enhanced with a framelock instead of a linerlock.
As such you can legally carry the Böker Plus Lancer 42 in many places. In Germany, for instance, where Böker is from. The Böker Lancer, as such, is a practical and sympathetic pocket knife for daily use. From opening boxes to peeling an apple.
The blade of the Böker Plus Lancer 42 is made from D2-steel. A tough type of steel that retains its sharpness well. D2 is also relatively tough, which is great if you use this knife on a daily basis. Do, however, be careful around salt, acids and moisture. D2 is namely not completely stainless. It will not rust in your hands, but it will definitely benefit from a couple drops of oil once in a while.
The Böker Plus Lancer 42 is a great, public-friendly pocket knife for a great price.
