 Description:

The Böker Plus P-51 Damascus is an incredibly cool pocket knife, designed by Steve Kelly. The damascus blade contains parts of a real North American P-51 Mustang! Between 1940 and 1948, some 15,800 examples of the aircraft were produced in various versions, making it one of the most-built military aircraft in the world today.

The heart of the Böker Plus P-51 Damast is the distinctive spear-point blade of 80-layer damascus steel, forged by Chad Nichols in the US and made up of original parts from the historic fighter aircraft. If you look at this knife from the side, you can see some visual reminders of the historic fighter-bomber. The thumbhole, for example, looks like the cockpit.

The titanium handle is also reminiscent of the P-51. The pattern on the handle scales resembles the steel plates that covered the exterior of the aircraft. The blue pivot features the US Army's Silver Star. Also, the red screws are reminiscent of the colour combination of the P-51! The lockside is made from one piece of lightweight titanium with a steel lockbar insert.

This beautiful knife carries a piece of history. The Böker Plus P-51 Damascus would not be out of place in any knife or history collection.
