The Fällkniven F1 is a very popular fixed knife which, after 8 years of development, is used by the Swedish Air Force, among others. This limited edition comes with an engraving of the Saab JAS 39 Gripen fighter aircraft.
But that's not the only remarkable thing about this Fällkniven F1. The knife has also been made entirely by hand. The blade, the grind, the finish of the micarta handle: all have been done by hand. The side of the handle features the Tre Kronor emblem. This emblem has been gilded especially for this knife. Not just gilded: a layer ten times thicker than usual has been applied.
Naturally, the blade is made from renowned 3G powder steel. The handle is entirely made from micarta, a highly durable material. The bolster of this anniversary knife is made from nickel silver. This gives it a warmer appearance than the steel of the blade. The knife is supplied in a fully closed leather sheath. Both knife and sheath can be stored in the beautiful wooden box that form the special edition of this F1.
