[Viper] Katla Satin Marbled Carbon Fibre

You use the Viper Katla for many daily tasks, but it will also look amazing in a showcase! The finish is perfect and the longer you hold it, the more details you will see. Take the backspacer and pivot collar (the ring around the pivot), for instance. These are made from phosphor bronze. Very cool!

The blade of the Viper Katla is made from top-quality Böhler M390 steel. This steel retains its sharpness well and is corrosion resistant. As such it is, not surprisingly, one of the most popular premium options today. You don’t have to sharpen it as often as other types of steel. As such the knife will last a lot longer. The shape of the blade is remarkable: on the one hand you could say that it is a tanto. Because of the grind towards the tip. However, the kink is not as ‘present’ as with many other Americanized tanto’s. As such it is more for the subtle looks, because it cuts like a ‘normal’ droppoint.

There are two ways to open the Katla: the thumb stud or the fast flipper. Because of the ball bearings it opens smoothly. Truly addictive to play with! When opened a linerlock ensures that your fingers are safe. Viper neatly placed it in the material used for the handle.

The handle of this model is made from marbles carbon fibre, expertly finished & beautifully crafted. Easy on the eyes, but it also ensure you have more grip. The blade is enhanced with a satin finish.
