Description:
'Yee-haw!'' The Böker Plus Urban Texas Toothpick is a tribute to the rich history of Texas, and Böker's modern interpretation of the Texas Toothpick. In the 19th century, the Texas Toothpick was very popular.
Especially among farmers and soldiers. The design of the knife was inspired by that of the Navaja knives brought by the Spanish colonists. The Texas version has a remarkably long blade and a generally slim design.
This version has been enhanced with a cocobolo wood handle with a nice, deep colour. The end of the handle features a pocket clip, allowing you to carry the knife in your chest pocket or trouser pocket.
You open the blade with the flipper. The blade is made from VG10 steel. A stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness for a long time. The blade is enhanced with polished finish.
All in all: the Texas Toothpick is a good choice for those seeking a sleek gentleman's knife for everyday use. For example, to open an envelope or to peel a piece of fruit.
