Description:
The MKM Goccia is the production version of the NEO. And no, we are not referring to the lead from The Matrix, but one of Jens Ansø’s most popular custom knives! An elegant knife with organic shapes.
The English translation of 'Goccia' is 'drop'. A reference to the droppoint-style shape of the blade. The blade is made from Böhler M390 steel. A popular type of steel from Austria that retains its sharpness for a long time. A nice detail is the flipper that subtly protrudes from the handle when closed. Not as large as with many other pocket knives, but just as efficient.
The artistic, 3D milled handle is unique. It looks a lot like a 'ripple in still water'. Because these ripples move gradually from the middle of the handle from high to low, the handle nicely fills the palm of your hand. The linerlock that blocks the blade is deeply embedded in the micarta handle. As such it hardly stands out and won't disrupt the elegant design of the handle. You carry the MKM Goccia with the deep-carry pocket clip.
Where do MKM Knives come from?
MKM is a cooperation between Viper, LionSteel, Fox and Mercury. Four masters working in the Italian knife industry. It is no coincidence that they all come from the city: Maniago, northern Italy. The knife capital of Southern Europe. MKM stands for Maniago Knife Makers.
