Description:
The CRKT Nishi 2290 is a cool fixed knife, designed by Lucas Burnley. Influenced by Japan! Like Burnley's previous fixed knives the handle of this knife is also wrapped in nylon. Traditionally speaking a piece of ray leather is placed underneath. In this case a piece of plastic was added that closely resembles ray leather, to make it look more authentic.
You use the CRKT Nishi as an all-round EDC knife. Opening packaging, cutting cardboard into pieces, working around the house, peeling apples. And many more. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. Stainless, tough, easy to sharpen. CRKT etched the blade as such that it looks like it contains a hamon hardening line. A small nod to the Japanese knife tradition.
The CRKT Nishi comes with a solid plastic sheath. It is enhanced with a so-called J-clip. Designed to carry the sheath inside your waistband. The J-clip will be located behind your belt to make sure the sheath stays in place as you pull the knife out.
