Stainless Damasteel DS93X Super Dense Twist ![Damasteel includes less impurities and will contain far less inclusions than traditional damascus steel. Damasteel also carries the properties of the particle steel alloys RWL 34 and PMC27 steel. Damasteel manufactures a beautiful patterned and stainless damascus steel with superior strength and durability. [Damascus Steel Breakdown]: Damascus steel is a famed type of steel recognizable by the watery or wavy light and dark pattern of the metal. Damascus Steel is very popular because it offers excellent blade properties such as strength and durability with good flexibility for cutting. Aside from being beautiful, Damascus steel is valued because it maintains a keen edge, yet is hard and flexible. Knives & Tools made from Damascus steel are vastly superior to those formed from iron! Although modern high-carbon steels made using the 19th century Bessemer process surpass the quality of Damascus steel, the original metal remains an outstanding material, particularly for its day. There are two types of Damascus steel: cast Damascus steel and pattern-welded Damascus steel. Damascus steel is beautiful, very sharp, and very tough. It was superior to other alloys used for swords at the time. A Damascus blade will retain its sharpness for longer than most production quality blades. Damascus steel requires special care for it to retain its original luster and beauty. Many hand-forged Damascus blades are made out of high carbon steel with small amounts of chromium in the alloy. While high in carbon steel, the blade can easily rust if not cared for.](https://duncansgunmakers.co.uk/catalog/media/info_icon.png) |

Description:
The Old Bear Classical Olive Damascus is a cool pocket knife and a special edition of the Classical from Old Bear. You easily open the blade with the nail nick. You do so with two hands. As such the knife can legally be carried almost everywhere in Europe. You lock the knife both when open and closed. It is the result of a Lupo-lock mechanism, a ring lock we have seen on similar knife brands but can be controlled with one hand.
Handle material and steel type info:
The blade is made from Damscus steel DS93X. A top-quality and stainless damascus steel with a unique pattern. The handle is made from olive wood, nice and lightweight. The light colour of the olive wood is in nice contrast with the dark lines in the Damascus steel.
Antonini created their Old Bear model to celebrate the 90th anniversary of their company (1925-2015). Each knife is built from raw materials employing manual labor and classic techniques to create a unique piece. Its stone-sharpened blade folds neatly into its simple, ergonomic handle, making a knife that’s easy to take anywhere. If you’re looking for something classic, quality, and one-of-a kind, Old Bear is for you.
