Brass ![With copper as its base constituent, brass is among the most durable metals around. It can last for thousands of years if properly stored and maintained; it's completely rust resistant & can withstand high pressures due to it's brilliant tensile strength. Brass is a great conductor of heat and is corrosion-resistant, especially to galvanic seawater corrosion. It casts well, is reasonably durable and attractive, and even possesses some antimicrobial qualities thanks to its high copper content. Brass is an alloy. That means it's a mixture of other metals: primarily zinc and copper. Other metals that are sometimes added to brass in small amounts include tin, iron, aluminum, silicon, and manganese. When it comes to its strength, it's really thanks to being an alloy that brass is such a sturdy metal.](https://duncansgunmakers.co.uk/catalog/media/info_icon.png) |

Carbon Steel Damascus ![Damascus steel is a famed type of steel recognizable by the watery or wavy light and dark pattern of the metal. Damascus Steel is very popular because it offers excellent blade properties such as strength and durability with good flexibility for cutting. Aside from being beautiful, Damascus steel is valued because it maintains a keen edge, yet is hard and flexible. Knives & Tools made from Damascus steel are vastly superior to those formed from iron! Although modern high-carbon steels made using the 19th century Bessemer process surpass the quality of Damascus steel, the original metal remains an outstanding material, particularly for its day. There are two types of Damascus steel: cast Damascus steel and pattern-welded Damascus steel. Damascus steel is beautiful, very sharp, and very tough. It was superior to other alloys used for swords at the time. A Damascus blade will retain its sharpness for longer than most production quality blades. Damascus steel requires special care for it to retain its original luster and beauty. Many hand-forged Damascus blades are made out of high carbon steel with small amounts of chromium in the alloy. While high in carbon steel, the blade can easily rust if not cared for.](https://duncansgunmakers.co.uk/catalog/media/info_icon.png) |

Ebony Wood ![Ebony is dark in color and so dense that it sinks in water. It's incredibly fine-grained, hard and smooth when sanded and polished (able to get a mirror finish), which makes it ideally suited for both aesthetic and practical use, such as in a knife handle. coming from several species in the genus Diospyros, which also contains the persimmons (Edible Fruit). Ebony has a long history of use, and carved pieces have been found in Ancient Egyptian tombs. However, this wood can be difficult to obtain, as many of its species are now considered threatened. Still, with responsible harvesting practices in place, ebony wood is still available.](https://duncansgunmakers.co.uk/catalog/media/info_icon.png) |

Description:
The Böker Magnum Ebony Rangebuster Damascus is a cool and affordable gentleman's knife. It is remarkable that a knife with these materials can be produced for such a price. The design might remind you of the classic Sod Buster pocket knives known mainly from traditional American brands. Simple shapes, incredibly effective.
The blade of the Böker Rangebuster is made from damascus steel. Numerous layers of two types of steel that are folded together to end up with an interesting and unique pattern. The handle of this model is made from ebony wood. A stunning type of wood with a luxurious look and feel.
You open the knife with two hands and when opened the blade is blocked by a slipjoint. Not a real lock, merely resistance to keep the knife from closing. As such you can legally carry the Böker Rangebuster Damascus in many different places in Europe.
