Ernest Emerson Wave Opening

The Lionsteel L.E.One is enhanced with the Emerson Wave. A patented opening mechanism that characterizes the Ernest Emerson knives. It is a hook on the spine of the blade which you hook on the side of your pocket when you take it out. As such the knife opens on its own.

You can, however, also open the L.E.One with the thumb hole or flipper. Both are easy to use thanks to the use of ball bearings. The knife is enhanced by, the by LionSteel designed REF system. With this feature you remove the flipper and replace it with the included screw. The result is a slimmer knife. A framelock locks the blade when opened. LionSteel added a steel insert to the framelock to prevent wear and tear in the long run.

CPM MagnaCut steel

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most popular types of steel of 2021 and 2022. This steel is labeled by many as 'perfect'. Quite a thing to say! But the right thing as well. It is a stainless type of tool steel. Just as tough as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V, and Vanadis 4, and retains its sharpness just as well. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than popular, stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN, and Böhler M390. If that isn't perfection, we don't know what is!

Integral aluminium handle

LionSteel is a master when it comes to mill work. The L.E.One is no exception. The handle is made from one solid piece of Ergal Aluminium. As such it is one of the first karambit pocket knives with an integral handle. The advantage is that, despite its size, the knife is relatively lightweight. The construction of the knife namely does not need steel liners, backspacers or extra screws.
