Description:
Relive your L1A1 SLR dreams with this spot on replica that utilizes the SA-58 Paratrooper variant of the rifle. This takes the already solid, reliable platform and cuts the size down by a considerable amount, providing massive weight reduction and more effective carry.
It also takes what used to be an old school, heavy wooden rifle and turns it into a modern, lightweight, effective weapon. This version only fires steel bb's of course.
The rifle has been upgraded with a top spec heavy duty ACOG scope with an illuminated reticle and hair fine aiming mark. It has two flip open scope covers to protect the high quality glass. It's also utilizing the most recent Duncans Compact Weapon Laser that enhances accuracy and allows the gun to be fired accurately without aiming down sights. Also it's a laser... it's cool.
Gun History
The SA-58 Para is a close-quarters modification of it's battle-hardened brother, the FAL. American company DSA (David Selvaggio Arms) manufactures a copy of the FAL called the DSA SA58 FAL that is made with the same Steyr-Daimler-Puch production line equipment as the StG-58. This rifle has two variantsl the SA58 OSW (Operational Specialist Weapon) and the SA58 CTC (Compact Tactical Carbine).
