Description:
The MKM Isonzo Cleaver is a solid knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes and made by Fox Knives. You can clearly see Voxnaes' design style. The flowing lines, the comet-shaped thumb hole and the striking backspacer with lanyard hole are all great examples. The lanyard hole is extra large to make sure you can easily attach the knife to a carabiner. As such the knife is not only perfect for every day carry, but also for outdoor enthusiasts and mountain climbers who want to attach a knife to their gear. Because of its size the Isonzo is also perfect as a back-up knife or in all those places where you don't want to attract too much attention.
The Isonzo comes in many shapes and sizes. This version of the Isonzo has a sheepsfoot/cleaver blade. This blade shape is perfect for a diverse range of tasks where you need a good, straight edge. This includes cutting cardboard or preparing food, for example. The blade is made from Böhler M390 steel. A premium, stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well.
The handle is made from micarta. A lightweight and solid material. Can be used regardless of the weather. The Isonzo has a deep-carry wire pocket clip. This allows you to discreetly carry the knife in your pocket.
Who are MKM Knives?
MKM is a cooperation between Viper, LionSteel, Fox and Mercury. Four masters working in the Italian knife industry. It is no coincidence that they all come from the city of Maniago in northern Italy. The knife capital of the south of Europe. MKM stands for Maniago Knife Makers. This MKM Isonzo is made by Fox Knives.
