[Rikeknife] 1508S M390 Integral Pocket Knife

The Rike 1508S (Latest Gen) is a special, high-quality pocket knife. It is built on an integral frame, which means the handle is milled from one piece of titanium. As a result, you won't see any screws in the side of the handle (except for the pivot). This gives the 1508S an ultra sleek appearance.

This sleek look is then complemented by elaborate decorations. Rike Knife is very good at milling titanium, and they like showing it. There are facets with extra structures all around the handle. Very cleverly made.

The blade of the 1508s is made from Böhler M390 steel, a popular steel with a very fine structure. Other benefits include excellent corrosion resistance, long service life and good wear resistance.

You open the Rike 1508s with the flipper. The pivot has ball bearings to ensure the blade moves smoothly. When opened, the blade is locked by a solid frame lock. To prevent wear and tear and a “sticky lock”, it also has a steel insert. The Rike 1508s has a beautiful milled pocket clip so you can carry it with you.

All in all, the Rike 1508s is a super cool, innovative knife. Because they're so difficult to make, you rarely come across integral frames among production knives. The fact that Rike does manage to offer a pocket knife with an integral frame in production says something about the craftsmanship and dedication of this emerging Chinese company.

This is the second version of this model. The most notable change is that the stop pin is now also part of the integral frame. The older model had a visible screw.
