[Medford] Marauder-H Tumbled Ti Framelock, S35VN PVD Tanto

The Medford Marauder-H is a cool and robust pocket knife with its own look and feel. The Marauder-H is the largest knife from the Marauder collection. A beast of a knife. Striking is the thickness of the blade in combination with the thickness of the handle. They both have the same thickness. As such the Marauder-H looks incredibly cool. Unique about this Marauder-H is the rugged tumbled finish, the main advantage of this is that it completely removes all signs of wear, meaning after years of usage, the handle will look the same.

The blade is made from CPM S35VN steel with an ultra durable PVD coating. The hollow grind on the blade was applied by hand. This is a unique feature: only few producers apply a hollow grind by hand. With the thumb slot you can easily open the blade. At first this might take some getting used to. When opened a solid framelock keeps the blade in place. Medford pressed the stop-pin in the blade. As a result it symmetrically leans against the handle. This adds strength.

CPM S35VN is a premium, stainless type of steel. For years this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. It is, for stainless steel, rather tough and relatively easy to sharpen.

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. All blades are given a hollow grind that is applied by hand.
