This version has a damascus blade with satinised flats and a handle of grey aluminium and black G10 scales with a carbon fibre overlay.
The Biophase is a nice EDC pocket knife in the colour grey, black. With its blade length of 8.8 cm, this knife is ideal for easy carrying. When closed, it's only 11.8 cm long, and it weighs 75 g.
The Biophase opens quickly thanks to the flipper. Because the knife is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, the action is very smooth. Once opened, a button lock ensures the knife won't unintentionally snap shut during use. In terms of ease of use, this is one of the best locking mechanisms on the market.
Blade of stainless damascus
The blade of this Biophase is made of stainless damascus. It's gorgeous, but also made to be used. Damascus is made by fire-welding different steels together and then folding them several times.
