Description:

An old folks tale

In the shadowed hollows of the Whispering Woods, where the ancient oaks murmured secrets to the wandering winds, there dwelled a master smith workshop known only as ProForge. They were no ordinary craftsman, but weavers of steel and spirit, born from the union of mountain fire and river mist.

Long ago, in the days when men still bartered tales for bread, ProForge dreamed of forging a blade that could fold like the wings of a resting falcon, yet strike with the fury of a storm. One moonlit eve, as thunder grumbled across the heavens, ProForge gathered the essence of far-off lands.

"Enchanted" Damascus Blade

From the rising sun's empire, they summoned the Damascus steel blade, hammered in layers like the ripples of a sacred pond kissed by raindrops. This he shaped into a graceful drop-point blade, its surface dancing with patterns that mimicked the tears of the sky upon the earth- a raindrop symphony, swirling in blues and grays, sharp enough to cleave the veil between worlds.

But the blade alone was not enough for such a wondrous creation. ProForge adorned its hilt with bolsters of the same enchanted Damascus, polished to a gleam that caught the stars like a mirror of forgotten dreams. These guards stood sentinel, warding against the grasp of time and toil.

Olive Wood Scales

For the scales that cradled the knife's heart, he harvested olive wood from groves older than memory, where heroes of yore had rested their weary heads. Smooth and warm as the earth's embrace, these scales were bound fast with screws of unyielding stainless steel, twisted in the shape of ancient torx runes, ensuring no force of man or beast could loosen their hold.

Deep within, ProForge etched a decorative backspring, a spine of steel adorned with vines and runes that whispered of lost lore. It gave the knife a sturdy walk and talk, opening with a satisfying snap like the crack of dawn breaking the night, and closing with the gentle hush of leaves falling in autumn. And so was born the Folklore Folder, a pocket companion for the wanderer’s travels. In the hands of the humble woodsman or the bold adventurer, it proved a faithful ally for every day’s carry slicing through the bonds of the wild, carving paths through bramble and fate alike.

The  Legend

Legends say that whosoever wields the Folklore Folder carries a piece of ProForge's soul, and in quiet moments by the fire, one might hear it hum the old songs of the forge. Yet beware, O seeker of treasures: such a blade chooses its master, not the other way 'round. For in the tales of old, it is said that the Folklore Folder brings fortune to the pure of heart, but woe to those who grasp it with greed. And thus, the story folds upon itself, waiting for the next chapter to unfold in your own hand.
