[Leatherman] Curl, Compact Multi-tool

Inspired by the best-selling multipurpose tool, the Leatherman Curl combines Leatherman’s classic design with practical features. The outside-accessible, locking knife blade makes cutting through jobs a breeze. The spring-action scissors are great for trimming various types of matierials and the bit driver gives you custom capability when paired with the Bit Kit. Pliers

You can open the pliers by opening the handles. There are small serrations in the beak that offer additional grip. The tip is small enough for precise work, such as bending fish hooks or removing splinters. The spine of the beak is curved to make sure you can easily move around in tight corners and bend a wire with ease. The wire cutter is also great for cutting small sticks and stems. Good pliers come in handy more often than you might think!

Knife

The drop point blade is made from 420HC stainless steel. This type of stainless steel contains more carbon than normal 420 steel. As a result, this blade will stay sharp for longer. The shape of the blade is suitable for all kinds of cutting jobs. You can open the blade one-handed from the outside of the tool with the thumb hole. The sharpened length of the blade is approx. 7 cm and the blade is sharpened at a 15 degree angle. Because the blade is only 2.5 mm thick, it cuts really well.

File

The file has two sides. One side has a diamond coating for sharpening. This is handy if you quickly need to sharpen your axe in the field, for example. Because of the coarse grind, however, it's not as suitable for sharpening knives. The other side has a metal file. This is ideal for removing burrs from steel, among other things.
