Description:
The Old Bear Classical Walnut Stainless S is a classic pocket knife from Italy. You easily open the blade with the nail nick. You do so with two hands. As such the knife can legally be carried almost everywhere in Europe. You lock the knife both when open and closed. It is the result of a Lupo-lock mechanism, a ring lock we have seen on similar knife brands but can be controlled with one hand.
Highlights:
Blade: Made from hardened AISI 420 stainless steel with a satin finish and HRC 54/56 hardness rating for good edge retention and corrosion resistance. It features a sheepsfoot profile (a straight edge with a curved spine dropping to a sharp point), measuring about 2.63–2.83 inches (72 mm) in length, ideal for precise slicing without accidental punctures.
The blade includes a classic nail nick for easy one-handed opening and often has an etched "Old Bear" logo.
The Italian Old Bear
Old Bear knives are known for their classic design and are produced by Antonini Knives. All knives are produced in the knife capital of Italy: Maniago. The Old Bear brand emerged in 2015 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Antonini Knives (1925-2015).
