Add Product to cart

If you have not already done so you will now need to log in or register. Products Click on Add to Basket. The option to Add to Basket will only be shown if your required product is in stock. In the Your Shopping Cart Contents screen you will be able to enter required quantities. BY SUBMITTING AN ORDER TO US, YOU WARRANT AND REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE OVER 18 YEARS OLD.

Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Our Website as they affect your rights and liabilities under law.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THESE TERMS, YOUR ATTENTION IS IN PARTICULAR DRAWN TO CLAUSES 9 AND 18.

9. Eligibility for Goods and Services

9.1 By submitting an Order to Us, you warrant and represent to Us that you are over 18 years old;

9.2 If you are not able or not willing to give the warranties and representations set out in clause 9.1 above then you must not submit an Order to Us.

10. Product Information

10.1 We have made all reasonable efforts to accurately display the colours, designs and sizes of the Goods for sale on Our Website. You acknowledge and accept that designs, colours, shapes and patterns shown on the Website are approximate only. Colours in particular may differ due to your own computer's visual settings and hardware.

10.2 If the Goods you have Ordered are not available in the colour, design or size you have requested we will notify you of the colours, designs or sizes currently available. Your Order will not be accepted and you may then resubmit your Order for the Goods in an available colour.

10.3 You acknowledge that you do not rely on any representation and/or warranty that has not been made in accordance with these Terms.

11. Formation of the Contract

Please follow directions given on the Website to place an Order. Once you have placed an Order and we have received payment in accordance with clause 12 we will confirm receipt of your Order.

12. Price and Payment

12.1 The price payable for the Goods shall be as shown on the Website. Prices advertised on the Website include VAT (VAT stands for Value added tax) but exclude postage, packing, and insurance. Delivery charges are shown separately when ordering and must also be paid in advance.

12.1a VAT-(VAT stands for Valued added tax) which is charged on goods sold by Duncans Gunmakers Ltd.

12.2 Payment shall be made by you by the means specified on the Website and shall not be deemed to be made until We have received cleared funds in respect of the full amount stated in the Order.

12.3 Prices are subject to change without notice but changes will not affect Orders which we have already accepted.

13. Right for you to Cancel

13.1 You may cancel your Order at any time up to the end of the seventh (7) Working Day from the date you receive the Goods PROVIDED THAT the Goods remain unopened and sealed in their original packaging in a condition suitable for re-sale.

13.2 To cancel your Order you must notify us in writing (which includes letter, fax or email). The sum debited to Us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to the same card within 30 days of your cancellation notice.

13.3 The Goods in question must be returned to Us within 21 days of your cancellation notice and must be received by Us in the condition they were in when delivered to you, unopened and sealed in their original packaging in a condition suitable for re-sale. Unless the Goods are faulty, We shall be entitled to recover any direct costs of having to recover the Goods from you and may set such costs off against the amount to be re-credited to you.

14. Cancellation by Us

14.1 We reserve the right to cancel the Contract if:

14.1.1 We have insufficient stock to deliver the Goods you have ordered;

14.1.2 We do not deliver to your area or country;

14.1.3 One or more of the Goods you ordered was listed with incorrect product information, price, and/or description for whatever reason; or

14.1.4 We have reason to believe that you will fail to pay for the Goods or that you will not comply with these Terms (or any of them).

15. Delivery of Goods to you

Unless we notify you otherwise, once your Order has been accepted, we will deliver the Goods ordered by you within 28 days to the billing address you give Us at the time you make your Order.

16. Intellectual Property Rights

All and any Intellectual Property Rights in connection with the Goods shall be owned by Us absolutely.

17. Disclosure of Information to Government Bodies

We may from time to time be requested to provide information to government bodies (including without limit the Police) with regards to any Goods you purchase from Us and you hereby consent to Us doing so.

18. Liability and Limitation

18.1 If we do not deliver or if the Goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective on delivery or during the Warranty Period or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Our only obligation will be, at Our option to:

18.1.1 make good any shortage or non-delivery or incorrect delivery; or

18.1.2 replace or repair any Goods that are damaged or defective; or

18.1.3 refund to you the amount paid by you for the Goods in question.

The above obligations shall not apply when such damage or defect has arisen as a consequence of any negligence by you or your failure to comply with any reasonable instructions issued by us in respect of maintenance and/or safe handling.

18.2 We shall have no Liability to you for any consequential, special or indirect losses including without limit loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings damage to or loss of goodwill, reputation or data.

18.3 Without prejudice to the foregoing, our total aggregate Liability to you under and/or arising in relation to this Contract shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Goods.

18.4 Nothing in this Contract shall exclude or limit Our Liability for death or personal injury due to Our negligence or any Liability which is due to Our fraud or any other Liability which We are not permitted to exclude or limit as a matter of law.

18.5 Nothing in this Contract shall exclude or limit your statutory rights.

PART C - GENERAL

19. Notices

Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from you to Us must be in writing and sent to Duncans Gunmakers Ltd, 200 Willerby Road Hull, East Yorkshire, HU5 5JW. or by email to sales@duncansgunmakers.co.uk

20. Events beyond Our control

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver Goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to Goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond Our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

21. Miscellaneous

21.1 If any part of these Terms is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude Our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these Terms will not be affected.

21.2 This Contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

21.3 These Terms, together with the Order set out the whole of Our agreement relating to the supply of the Goods by Us to you.

Shipping & Returns

UK Delivery

Some items which are age restricted or require the production of a Firearms or Shotgun Certificate cannot be purchased online and would need to collected from our premises.

Knives or bladed implements

Knives and Bladed implements can be purchased online and collected from our Store using the Click and Collect option at checkout. They can also be posted to your address using the Post offices 48 hour Age Verification Service and using the Delivery Charge option at checkout. If the recipient looks to be under the age of 25 years old they will need to provide proof of age at the point of delivery to receive the shipment. If proof of age is not provided the package will be returned to the nearest customer service centre and held there for 18 days. It can be collected from the service centre but the same Age Verification rules will apply. If the package is not collected within 28 days it will be returned to the sender.

Duncans Gunmakers Ltd’s delivery charges are based on a weight related scale which will be indicated and added at the time of checkout.

Duncans Gunmakers Ltd can only deliver goods to you in an approximate period. We will always endeavour to dispatch your items within 48 hours however product availability can vary. All goods will be sent to the address given by you which can be seen in your Order Confirmation email. We aim to get your goods to you within 3-7 working days but some products have specific delivery requirement which may extend delivery timescales. Please see individual product pages for more information.

If for some reason parcels are required to be redirected then a new additional charge of £9.95 will be incurred (where applicable). Also if goods are refused or not called for a charge of £9.95 will also be incurred. This list is not a full and exhaustive list and other reasons may apply.

Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments as availability of products can vary. For example certain products have specific delivery requirements which are explained below.

In Store Items

These are items that we stock in our store and orders for these items will take 2-3 days to arrive. If you would like to purchase the item in person then please call ahead to make sure we have the item in stock.

Direct Shipment Items

These products are dispatched direct from the manufacturer on behalf of Duncans Gunmakers Ltd. In most cases they will arrive separately to any other items you have ordered. Please see the individual product pages for specific delivery estimates as each manufacturer will use a different courier. If you need to return or exchange your product please return the items to Duncans Gunmakers Ltd at our returns address. For more information please call 01482 328150.

Special Order Items

These are products which aren't always kept in stock or are tailor made. Special Order Items can have extended delivery timescales so for more information please see the individual product pages for specific delivery estimates.

Collection Only Items

These items normally require Identification (Passport) or a firearms / Shotgun certificate before they are handed over. Shotguns, Rifles, Airguns and Moderators are usually good examples. When purchasing a 'collection only' item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. In most instances you can choose to collect your item from our store.

Pre-Order Items

These are usually items that are going to be out of stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back in stock dates. In rare occasions these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend you contact us regularly for updates.

Refunds & Returns

The Goods in question must be returned to us unopened within 14 days of your cancellation notice and must be received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you, unopened and sealed in their original packaging in a condition suitable for re-sale. Unless the Goods are faulty We shall be entitled to recover any direct costs of having to recover the Goods from you and may set such costs off against the amount to be re-credited to you.

All returned goods should carry a copy of the original invoice. We recommend you photocopy one for your own records. The goods should be packaged to a satisfactory standard in a safe and relevant manner. Our return address should be clearly shown on the front of the parcel which is as follows:

The model was based on the design of the well-known karambit knife. You open the blade with the flipper or the Emerson wave. Thanks to the ball bearings, this action is very smooth. A rock-solid liner lock keeps the blade in place. A tough-looking pocket knife with many possibilities. The blade is made from 154CM steel. This is an American type of steel that has been used in the knife world for a long time. It is stainless, retains its sharpness well, can handle its own and is easy to sharpen. One of the best non-powder steels. The handle and finger ring are made from G10, a composite material made from glass fibres and synthetic resin. It's nicely lightweight, looks great and provides excellent grip. The pocket clip lets you carry the HEL Karambit safely in your pocket. It is cleverly attached to make sure you place it for left and right-handed use.
