Advanced Rotary Magazine System

The KalibrGun Cricket 2 Tactical features one of the most advanced rotary magazine systems on the market. Unlike spring-loaded, self-indexing magazines—common in many PCP rifles—that often squash soft lead pellets during loading, KalibrGun's mechanically indexed magazine ensures each pellet is chambered with total alignment and minimal contact.

 

This system offers exceptional consistency and reliability, allowing shooters to enjoy multi-shot convenience without sacrificing accuracy—eliminating the usual need to switch to a single-shot tray for best results.

 

How It Works – Dual-Mode Operation:

The magazine system can operate in two selectable modes, giving you control over how it's indexed depending on your preference:

 

• • Cock the rifle so the bolt is locked to the rear (open position).

• • Pull back the magazine retention pin at the front of the breech. This retracts the locking detent.

• • Insert the magazine from either side—the detent will prevent it from sliding through.

• • Lift the magazine gate, then push it forward to select a mode:

  • • Midway Position – Manual Indexing Mode: You rotate the magazine by hand between each shot. This reduces the resistance during cocking and offers a smoother cycling feel for HFT or Benchrest shooters.

  • • Fully Forward – Auto Indexing Mode: The final part of the cocking stroke rotates the magazine for you, enabling faster follow-up shots.

 

Unlike spring-loaded mags that rely on retention tension, the Cricket’s system ensures the probe always pushes the pellet directly and precisely into the breech without deforming it. This maintains the pellet’s integrity and flight stability—ideal for both target and pest control use.
