Blade made of Damasteel

The blade of the WE Knife Swiftfin is made of Damasteel damascus. This material is truly something special. There are enough manufacturers who make good damascus steel, but the Swedish company Damasteel really takes it to the next level. This is because they use two powder steels for forging the damascus. Powder steels have a very fine grain structure at the microscopic level, ensuring they are harder and that they retain their sharpness for a longer time than conventional types of steel. Damasteel uses two powder steels, RWL34 and PMC27, forged together. Not only does it look incredibly cool, it also stays sharp for a long time and can take a beating. This steel also contains more than 13% chromium. This also makes it very corrosion resistant. Therefore, this steel is not just eye candy, it's also a fantastic practical choice!
