Description:
The Viper Rhino 1 is a large pocket knife that feels remarkably comfortable in hand. It was designed by Fabrizio Silvestrelli. What immediately stands out, besides the size of the knife, is the blade, as it combines different shapes and features a cool compound grind. When opened, the blade is locked by a solid back lock. The heavily modified sheepsfoot shape of the blade slopes up a bit. In doing so, the protrusion on the spine of the blade clearly shows where the name Rhino comes from.
The handle is ergonomically shaped. It feels great in hand for both larger hands and smaller hands. Thanks to the jimping on the spine of the handle, you have a lot of grip on the knife during use. The rounded spring and liners ensure that no sharp patch can be found on the handle. The blade is made from Elmax. This is a type of powder steel from Austria known for its all-round good properties. It is stainless, retains its sharpness well, can handle its own and is easy to sharpen.
The Rhino 1 has a relatively large, solid pocket clip, so it's easy to carry this knife with you, in spite of its size.
