Description:
The Condor Patagon Knife K122-59-SS is a hunting knife inspired by a Facón knife. These knives are used by the people who live and work on the vast plains of Patagonia. The Patagon knife is designed for hunting purposes, cutting leather and carrying out other outdoor tasks. The hunting knife has a slim blade with a secondary grind on top of the blade near the tip.
Handle made from walnut wood with red liners
The handle of the Patagon Knife is made from walnut wood. This is a hard and very durable type of wood with a dark colour and grain. Walnut wood is a medium-heavy type of wood that won't splinter. A decorative red liner is placed between the full-tang blade and the scales, a nice finishing touch.
Blade made from 420HC steel
The blade of the Patagon is made form 420HC steel. This is a stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. 420HC is also relatively tough. As such, you can also use this knife for the more demanding tasks. Moreover, it's easy to sharpen in the field. All you need is a simple pocket sharpening stone.
