[Medford] The Antik, Stonewashed Titanium, S45VN DLC

The Medford The Antik Stonewashed Titanium is an elegant knife with a front flipper. That's a first for Medford! The name 'The Antik' comes from the old Greek word for 'thumb'. With sturdy but thin titanium scales and a 9.5 cm blade, you'll notice that this slim knife practically disappears inside your pocket. As soon as your need it, however, it reveals itself as a fully-fledged tool. This version has a titanium handle with a stonewashed finish on the presentation side and a blue colour on the framelock side.

Medford The Antik CPM S45VN blade
The blade is made from CPM S45VN A premium type of powdered steel, which means that the steel has a very fine structure. As a result, it retains its sharpness for a very long time. S45VN is very similar to S35VN, however, it retains its sharpness longer and is easier to sharpen. So win-win. The hollow grind on the blade was applied by hand. This is a unique feature: only few producers apply a hollow grind by hand.

The handle is made from stunning titanium with a stonewashed finish. Titanium ensures the knife is light in weight. When opened, a solid framelock keeps the blade securely in place.
